Christian Flamm is a most fastidious person for whom text has played a large part in his artistic life. Christian knew without hesitation that he wanted to be represented by two books: Nikolaus Pevsner's The Englishness of English Art for the bulk of the sculpture and Thomas Mann's The Confessions of Felix Krull for the bust's surface. He has exhibited with the Galerie Neu in Berlin, Gagosian Gallery in NewYork and Alison Jacques Gallery in London, amongst others.
